Yes, Hedrin Once kills eggs too. The formulation contains Penetrol, which aids the penetration of the egg.

Hedrin Once contains Dimeticone, Nerolidol (Penetrol), PEG/PPG Dimeticone Co-Polymer and Silica Silylate.

Hedrin Once has been shown to work with just one application but a further check should be carried out one week after application to make sure that no head lice or eggs have managed to escape the coating.

Hedrin Once is unlikely to cause any ill effects to pregnancy or breastfeeding if used as directed. However, if you’re unsure consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Hedrin Once has not been tested for use on permanent, semi-permanent or temporary hair dyes. We recommend applying the formula to a small test area of hair before commencing treatment. If in doubt you can always consult a hairdresser. It is not advisable to use Hedrin Once directly before colouring or bleaching because it may prevent the colour taking to the hair.

Hedrin Once has not been tested for use on hair extensions meaning it’s difficult to know whether products will affect them. Hair extensions could block products from coming into contact with head lice, but not necessarily though. If in doubt consult a hairdresser.

Hedrin Once has not been tested on beards as its intended purpose is for application on hair and scalp. However, so long as the application comes into contact with head lice or eggs, it should fulfil its intended use.

If the correct process has been followed when using Hedrin Once, eggs should not still be on the hair after use. When working the solution into the hair, it is recommended to use fingers or a comb to remove head lice and eggs. 

Hedrin Once is suitable for adults and children 6 months and over.
